Supplier Code of Conduct

1. Introduction

Bag & Bones Limited is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We expect all suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and business partners to uphold standards consistent with this Supplier Code of Conduct.

Suppliers are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which they operate.

2. Employment Practices

Suppliers shall:

  • Treat workers with dignity and respect.
  • Provide a workplace free from harassment, discrimination and abuse.
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that workers are employed voluntarily.

3. Forced Labour and Human Trafficking

Suppliers must not:

  • Use forced, bonded or involuntary labour.
  • Engage in human trafficking.
  • Retain workers' identity documents.
  • Require employees to pay recruitment fees.

Workers must be free to leave employment in accordance with local laws and contractual arrangements.

4. Child Labour

Suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable child labour laws.
  • Not employ anyone below the minimum legal working age.
  • Ensure that young workers are protected from hazardous or inappropriate work.

5. Wages and Working Hours

Suppliers shall:

  • Pay wages and benefits in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Maintain fair and reasonable working hours.
  • Provide legally required breaks and rest periods.
  • Ensure overtime is voluntary where required by law.

6. Health and Safety

Suppliers shall provide:

  • A safe and healthy working environment.
  • Appropriate training and supervision.
  • Suitable emergency procedures and fire safety measures.
  • Access to clean drinking water and sanitary facilities.

7. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to:

  • Operate in compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Minimise waste where practicable.
  • Use resources responsibly.
  • Seek to reduce the environmental impact of their operations.

8. Business Integrity

Suppliers must conduct business ethically and with integrity.

Suppliers must not:

  • Offer or accept bribes or improper payments.
  • Engage in fraud, corruption or money laundering.
  • Participate in anti-competitive practices.

9. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

Suppliers must:

  • Respect confidential information belonging to Bag & Bones Limited and its customers.
  • Protect intellectual property rights.
  • Use proprietary information only for authorised purposes.

10. Compliance

Bag & Bones Limited reserves the right to review supplier relationships where concerns arise regarding compliance with this Code.

Suppliers are expected to take appropriate corrective action should any breach be identified.

Failure to comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in the termination of the business relationship.
