BAG&BONES x RANKIN

FROM 2D TO 3D

Known for shooting portraits with attitude, acclaimed photgrapher RANKIN has teamed up with BAG&BONES to bring his very own brand of LED neon art into the world, disrupting modern interiors as he goes. Each piece boasts a typically edgy RANKIN feel, combining the history of sleazy Soho neon with tongue-in-cheek modern aesthetics.

Mesmerising.
On and Off.

By utilising the lights on set and not solely adding them in post-production, RANKIN achieves a mesmerising visual effect underscored by bold, nude compositions that glow regardless of whether the piece is turned on or off.

The addition of tactile, three-dimensional LED neon tubing on recycled acrylic is a refreshing change to a wider creative backdrop that is becoming increasingly digital - bringing the 2D into 3D.

"My collaboration with BAG&BONES is a middle finger to beige walls and stuffy landscapes. This isn’t your mum’s interior design; this is art for the home with personality and punch."

— RANKIN

"For more than 30 years, RANKIN has immortalised icons and symbols through his thought-provoking work. The opportunity to work alongside one of London's biggest creative talents was one we couldn't wait to dive into."

— Gigi Foyle, BAG&BONES
