BAG&BONES IS EXCITED TO LAUNCH ITS LATEST RANGE OF ECO LIGHTS: THE OCEAN ROPE LIGHT

London, United Kingdom – BAG&BONES, the London-based Home Décor and Lighting brand, is proud to announce the imminent launch of its latest ECO lighting.

Inspired by the fluid movement of nature and water, and taking inspiration from the fishing boats in our hometown of Galway on the west coast of Ireland, The Ocean Rope Light uses LEDs encased in a yarn made from recycled plastic waste from the sea.

Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter our oceans before settling on the seabed. They threaten marine life, humans and ecosystems globally.

Every time you buy a product from The Ocean Range, we’ll donate 10% of the profits to the SEA LIFE Trust, a charity that works globally to reduce plastic pollution and protect the world's oceans and the amazing marine life that lives within them.

The idea first came to Gigi and Cavanagh while out walking along the moonlit coast in Connemara, Co. Galway and seeing how the light from the lighthouse caused the fishing boat ropes to look like liquid gold, sparkling and glistening as they danced with the rhythm of the rolling waves.

Just like the fishing ropes, these handcrafted rope lights are malleable and can be folded, looped, and twisted any way your heart desires.
